Onam 2026

The Cannock Malayalee Association Onam Celebration is a vibrant annual event that brings together Malayalee families and friends from Cannock and the surrounding areas to celebrate the rich culture, traditions and spirit of Kerala.

Onam is a festival of happiness, prosperity, unity and togetherness. Our celebration provides an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy traditional Kerala customs and create wonderful memories with family and friends.

The celebration features a variety of exciting programmes, including Pookalam competitions, traditional Kerala games, cultural performances, music, dance and entertainment for all ages. A special highlight of the celebration is the traditional Onam Sadhya, bringing the authentic flavours of Kerala to our community.

Children and adults are encouraged to participate in the cultural programmes and activities, providing a platform to showcase their talents and helping the younger generation stay connected with Kerala's language, culture and traditions.

The Cannock Malayalee Association Onam Celebration is more than just a festival—it is a celebration of our heritage, friendships, community and the bonds that bring us together.
